Egg Mask

Hair mask from egg

Egg is no longer a dreaded food, but is considered  a useful product for body nutrition and hair condition. The notion that an egg would increase cholesterol is being forgotten.

Egg is a protein-rich food from which the body gets healthy fats. To clarify, I present here the nutritional benefits of egg, which is why today,  health experts recommend it to be eaten once a day without worry.

Eggs provide a variety of vitamins such as vitamins B5, B12, A, D and E.  It also contains selenium, iron, iodine, folic acid, and choline.

Damaged hair

Continuous exposure to ultraviolet rays damages our skin, this is clear. However, it is easy to forget that our scalp is also skin that suffers from the harmful effects of the sun. In addition, environmental pollution, chemicals used in hair dyeing, and the constant use of a hair dryer or straightener cause significant damage. Therefore, it is important to find ways to  revitalize the health of hair and restore its natural shine and durability.

How does an egg help improve hair condition?

The protein contained in the egg as well as healthy fats help nourish the hair follicle and scalp, thus leading to healthier and thicker hair. This makes the new hair stronger, more durable, shiny and softer, as well as prevents premature hair breakage, which makes the hair look fragile and messy.

healthy hair

If you are afraid that your hair will smell strange, there is no reason to do so. The egg is used here as a mask. Beat one egg (yolk and white) and then rub it into your hair evenly. Leave on for at least 15-20 minutes to allow the egg properties to do their job. Then rinse off with water (cold or room temperature), and wash your hair as usual.

Remember: A whole egg should preferably be used on normal hair , only yolk on dry hair, and only protein on oily hair.  Protein alone should be used every other week, while the other two options should be repeated once a month.

Keep in mind that excessive or too frequent use of an egg will not increase its effectiveness. On the contrary, this may actually have an unwanted effect on your hair.
