Vitiligo is more common than you might imagine. Its characteristic feature is the development of pale patches on the skin.

In this article, we will tell you more about this problem, which can occur at any stage of life.

Whitish vititigo, all you need to know

Whiteness and what you need to know about it

It was previously said that people with dark skin are more prone to suffer from it.

It was later said that white people were more susceptible because white blood cell is caused by uneven production of melanin pigment  (created by melanocytes).

White or pink  patches appear mostly on the face, chest, hands, armpits and elbows.

The exact causes of this problem are still shrouded in obscurity, and it affects children, young and old alike equally, regardless of ethnic background or gender.

It is believed that vitiligo can be triggered by:

  • Poor thyroid function
  • Hereditary factors
  • Hormonal changes
  • Stress
  • Depression
  • Wounds
  • Diabetes
  • Addison’s disease
  • Anemia or anemia

In addition to these possible causes, the most widespread theory is that vitiligo is caused by a problem of resistance.  The body reacts differently to leukocytes, treating them as damaging intruders, and destroying them.

While it’s not a serious or dangerous disease,  it’s annoying, and embarrassing to many people.

A quarter of people with whiteheads suffer from a condition known as “spontaneous re-pigmentation.” Among the factors that make this happen, the following stand out in particular:

  • Whitish rash recently  (less than 6 months)
  • Patient age  (if young)
  • Patch locations  (face area, except lips)
